Kathmandu. Canada says it is ready to provide more oil, gas and uranium to help solve the global energy crisis.

The invasion of Ukraine has disrupted the supply of oil and gas from Russia, which has led to rising fuel prices worldwide.

According to Canada’s energy minister, many countries are ready to help with Russia’s oil and gas alternatives. Canada is the world’s fourth largest oil producer. Canada has pledged an additional 200,000 barrels of oil.

Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson told the BBC that Canada was ready to export an additional 100,000 barrels of natural gas.

“We hope to increase our capacity to 300,000 barrels by the end of the year,” Wilkinson said. However, due to sanctions on Russia, there will be a shortage of 300,000 barrels of oil and gas from next month.

Canada’s oil export capacity is limited because its pipeline is still operating at full capacity. However, according to Wilkinson, the option of sending oil through the United States remains open.

Enbridge, Canada’s largest pipeline company, told the BBC it was ready to take “every possible step” to increase energy supplies to North America and Europe.

Due to the war in Ukraine, many countries have banned Russian gas and oil. That is why the price of oil is rising in the international market.
